Shakespeare South Australia operates on Kaurna land. We acknowledge the Kaurna people as traditional custodians of the land and pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging. We acknowledge the continuous living Kaurna culture and the cultures of all of South Australia's First Nations people and their diverse languages, customs, traditions, knowledges and systems. We acknowledge that Country is sacred and central to culture and being and that First Nations people speak, listen to, sing up, dance up and understand Country. We thank the Kaurna people and all South Australia's diverse First Nations people for their enduring relationship connecting people, Country and ancestors—an unbreakable bond that safely stewarded and protected the land, waters and sky for thousands of generations and continues to this day.
